Cartier Wealth advisors needed every email, task and meeting across a client’s family in one place, with email attachments filed automatically. We built a family-wide activity timeline on Financial Services Cloud and the email automation behind it.

The Problem
Cartier Wealth runs Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, where a client relationship is a household: every family member, the household itself, their financial accounts, opportunities and cases. The standard timeline shows one record’s activity at a time, so preparing for a client meeting meant opening each record in turn.
Email made it harder. Einstein Activity Capture logged messages, but attachments sat inside the email log where they were hard to find or share, copying them across by hand was slow and often missed, and an email logged against the wrong record had no easy way to move.
What We Delivered
- One activity timeline for the whole family on every client record: emails, tasks and events from each member, their financial accounts, opportunities and cases in one filterable view
- Copy or move emails, tasks and events onto the right records, whether accounts, financial accounts, opportunities, cases or leads, several at once
- Tasks, events and logged calls created, tasks completed and emails answered without leaving the timeline
- Every attachment, sent or received in Outlook, filed automatically against the matching contact, account, lead and open opportunities
- Contact details kept in step across the family: when someone joins the household, their address, email and phone carry across
- Switches the firm can change in Setup without a deployment, and a solution guide for maintaining and extending it all
